Inside Neustadt you can find the cistercian monastry Mariensee, the castle " Landestrost" which hosts a peat museum and champagne production facilities, a watermill in the district of Laderholz or the post mill in Dudensen. The ancient city hall, the church " Liebfrauenkirche" or the old guard house are also worth a visit. All sights can easily be reached by bike and with its numerous forest tracks.
